 One more thing . . .

Be sure to spend at least one day Jan. 21 or 22 at the Suncoast Arts Fest at the Shops of Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel. I've been going for the past few years, and it's my all-time favorite outdoor art event....

4.     Start making plans! The Suncoast Arts Fest is a week away. The ArtsFest’s main attraction is a juried art show and other events at The Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel, Jan. 21-22, but there will be events in New Port Richey as well. There’s still time to volunteer.

Suncoast Arts Advocacy

Suncoast Arts Advocacy is a parent, student and community member based group formed in March 2011 when budget cuts proposed to eliminate many arts programs in Pasco County were a key issue. Through efforts of parents, students and community members, the school district heard of the negative impact that taking arts programs out of education would have on students, and an entire community realized the greater worth that arts education provides to our youth.

For more information about how you can help Suncoast Arts Advocacy, email PascoArts4Kids@gmail.com or call 727-247-6182.
